We're looking for social media volunteers

Main purpose of the role

The role of the Social Media volunteer will be to assist VIPIRG staff in promoting VIPIRG events, research, and projects.

Reports to: VIPIRG Internal Coordinator

Job activities:

-Live tweeting VIPIRG events
-Setting up audio visual equipment during events
-Setting up live stream for VIPIRG events

Volunteer Requirements

– Experience with social media and social media marketing
– Ability to write clearly, accurately, and succintly
– Able to volunteer on evenings and weekends
– Interest in social justice and environmental issues, an asset.

Time commitment

Approximately 2-3 hours per month (during VIPIRG events)
