Join us to be one of the community voices that informed our province's own legislative processes! Our first panel in a series of 5 will be a discussion about food sustainability, contributing towards the making of the Anti-Racism Data Legislation of 2022.
We will be looking into an intersectionality of racism and issues regarding access to food such as:
- food security
- accessibility (community gardens and grocery stores)
- promoting programs relative to sustainability
- the impact of climate change etc.
We will be exploring the impacts these issues have on youth, specifically racialized youth.
Whether you have personal experience in the topic, expertise through your work, or just want to learn more about the impacts of racism and food on our lives - all are welcome and speaking is not mandatory!
Designated speakers TBA.
Meeting to be held on Zoom here.
