Dr. Kevin Walby (Sociology) will present a workshop on Freedom of Information (FOI) legislation and the Access to Information act (ATI) that will include a summary of why the FOI and ATI acts are useful resources, followed by an instructional lecture on how to use the FOI / ATI to retrieve information. This will be followed by a hands-on tutorial where we will be going through the process of doing an FOI.
